Playing with Texture!
Textures are all the rage on my other photography message board... and I think I was the last hold out. So I decided to take on my favorite photos from a practice session that I had yesterday and play with textures and brushes.
Quite different for me...not sure if I like it or not...what do you guys think?

i love the second one! the colors and depth are great. the first one just makes me think "noise". jmo!
Being completely honest with you...the texture on that first one is not my favorite. I do love that second shot too, such depth. Guess I'm not running with the "in-crowd" but I just don't go for all those textures. But...keep playing around for you may sway me yet.
I am not a big fan of textures. I think it just takes away from the subject in most cases. there are some that I think are ok but I guess it's really just a preference thing. Great shot thugh, I love the second one:)
I actually am not a big fan of the texture either. I think it is a beatiful picture and the texture takes away from it- I love the 2nd one.
I think the second one is a fantastic shot. I'm not really digging the texture on the first one... maybe because it covers the face so much. Maybe try erasing some from the face?
I'm loving the second. Maybe I'm behind the times because I'm not into texture yet either. LOl
the second is my favorite. it has really nice contrast and is really clear. the first you seem to lose detail....
